Position Summary
Maintains, defends, and grows existing legacy semiconductor business at established customer base, while working closely with customers to create demand for long term support; creativity and fortitude are required. Gains exposure to new business opportunities and solves complex tasks within the job function. Receives general instructions on routine work from supervisor, detailed instructions on new projects and assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish new Tier 2 customers for legacy semiconductor products by organizing and planning work schedule to build on existing or new sales opportunities.
  • Studies customer applications to adjust content of sales presentations.
  • Gathers forecasted volumes of customers programs and follows funding.
  • Gather current marketplace information on products, delivery schedules, pricing, and marketing techniques in order to monitor competition.
  • Investigate problems; prepare reports; develop solutions and make recommendations to management in order to solve customer needs.
  • Attend workshops, review industry publications, and be aware of government funding of programs.
  • Keep records on customer inquiries and sales.
  • Contribute to team efforts in accomplishing organizational goals.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems and requirements.
  • Daily availability to management to reach goals and deadlines.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university in related field and 2-5 years of directly related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range:
$91,300.00 - $152,900.00
